Americans are NOT stupid - WITH SUBTITLES

It never stops amazing how republicans (every election year) scream about fiscal responsibility and slicing the federal budget in order to secure the future(s) of our children.  Yet, whenever they are facing questions regarding where to cut the federal budget answer is, invariably, "discretionary funding."

Well, guess what, folks?  FUNDING TO THE US DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION IS CONSIDERED "DISCRETIONARY FUNDING!!!" 

Judging from the above video, the education department is the last place we need to cut.  Speaking of which, how can we (as Americans) claim to be the leader of the free world, while considering the education of our young citizens -- discretionary!!!
